As summer “technically” is coming to a close and it is still very much pool season here in Florida so of course you can find me sporting another ArteSands suit by the pool soaking up some rays of sunshine. They recently sent over this sassy one piece in the cutest animal print with a fun cut out! Y’all know I love this brand and everything it stands for! I love that they are size inclusive and have the cutest prints and styles! I paired this fun suit with a super cute cover up from Amazon and sunnies from Old Navy. Real Talk: Confidence & Fashion

Happy Wednesday Y’all!

Today I’m sharing one of my absolute favorite pieces from the LC Lauren Conrad summer collection with you and wanted to also have a little chat about confidence and how clothes can affect that.

First off it ‘s not new news that we all have a size we prefer to be and see on our clothing tag, however that number doesn’t define us nor should it make us feel less than. I’ve struggled my whole life with my body image not until a few years ago did I truly learn to except to love my body in every state. I’ve learned that every brand and article of clothing run differently size wise so whether I need to size up or down or am my regular size the number on the tag does not define me whatsoever.

Therefore I love that LC Lauren Conrad is size inclusive with regular, plus, and petite sizing! How awesome is that!? I love that the fabrics and style and cuts can be worn by any shape and size and the clothes just make you feel good about yourself.

I’m obsessed with this sunny dress with lush fabric and bright print. It fits great and puts me in such a great mood paired with these adorable wedges also from the summer collection with some layered necklaces and earrings! This is by far one of my favorite dresses I own and will be wearing all summer long!

Y’all know you can shop LC Lauren Conrad online and at Kohl’s and make sure to check out their Instagram for style inspo @lclaurenconrad :)

LC Lauren Conrad Sleepwear & Me Time

Can we all agree there is nothing better than coming home after a long day at work and slipping on your pj’s and curling up on the couch with a great Netflix show? I don’t know about you but I spend an insane amount of time in my pajamas, not sorry! I’m currently obsessed with the new LC Lauren Conrad Sleepwear line that just came out a few weeks ago! The fabrics are so buttery and soft and the styles are just perfect, my ideal sleepwear! Just so comfortable, practical and of course super cute!

The bobble pocket tank and bottoms are so adorable and perfect for lounging around the house. I’m obsessed with the details on the pocket and love that the pants are drawstring and have pockets!

I’m also living for the blue ruffle chemise that is just so chic but again that same super soft and buttery feel just so comfortable and love the timeless print on this one! These would also be super cute for bridesmaids or a girls trip the colors are stunning!

I’m loving these pieces so much! One of the things are working on right now is me time and learning when to pause from the busyness of life! It’s difficult but I will say one of the things I enjoy most is having the house to myself, hanging out in my pj’s watching my trashy reality tv shows or cleaning our place! It’s become so necessary because with so much going on I’ve struggled with not feeling overwhelmed. How do you make time for yourself and what do you like to do?

Random Rambles & Summer Gingham

Happy Wednesday Babes!

Hope y’all are having a great week thus far! This week I wanna talk a little bit about this look but I also have a lot of random rabbles and life update! First off I’m super over whelmed with work right now as we are in busy season, from 9-5pm I work in the real estate industry and it is never a dull moment! I have the pleasure of meeting a lot of amazing and interesting people but y’all this business is not for the faint of heart. But anyway I’ve been struggling a lot with balancing work and what I really love doing which is my blog and photo business. I would love to tell y’all I have it all figured out but that is just not the case. I’m working on organizing and managing my time better and will update you later on what I’m changing and doing.

As for the blog I’m working on a lot of new content for you, trying to expand more and not just focus on fashion but beauty and lifestyle. I have tons coming up with summer fashion, wedding planning tips and tricks, organization, and everything in between. I would love if you could let me know what you are wanting to see or need on the blog! Please let me know in the comments below!

As for wedding there is a lot happening! I’m mostly excited for my bachelorette weekend as I know a little bit about it and it’s at my favorite place! I can not wait! Super excited for picturesque moments with my best babes! Stay tuned for more!

Ok lastly lets talk about this look really quick! I’m loving the gingham trend right now and this little number you guessed it is from Old Navy! I paired it with my favorite summer sandals right now, my favorite amazon clear bag and Kate Spade necklace. I’m living for the bright colors and summer feel and the fabric on this is super light weight, perfect for this FL weather!

That’s it for now, have a great rest of your week!

Annual Daytona Beach Trip

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Y’all know that for the past few years now Travis and I have taken a little weekend vacay once a year to Daytona Beach and it’s a great time for us to reset and enjoy the start of summer! I love to share travel blogs with y’all the most probably because traveling and doing something different than everyday life is fun and a great escape!

We got to The Hyatt Place on Friday and immediately went to the pool to relax and enjoy golden hour before grabbing pizza at my favorite pizza place in Daytona, Rossellini’s! We get a basic cheese and peperonni pizza with ranch and y’all it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been for pizza!

Saturday we hit the beach and pool pretty much all day after grabbing our complimentary breakfast at the hotel. I’m loving all the gingham this summer and this suit from Old Navy is not exception. I paired it with some retro sunnies, also from Old Navy and some earrings from Bauble Bar, topped it off with a red lip and you could say I was probably the most over done person at the pool, LOL!

Moving on to Saturday evening we decided to check out a new restaurant as we tend to go to the same places while we are here. We decided to give Cocina 214-Daytona Beach a try! Y’all this is probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Their queso blanco with chorizo and chip is out of this world! Seriously what dreams are made of! Travis got tacos with rice and beans and I got the enchiladas and we were not disappointed! Everything was amazing! The restaurant itself is stunning inside and looks out to the water so I decided to wear this little tropical print number to dinner. Again the dress is from Old Navy paired with my go to summer LC Lauren Conrad straw bag with flip-flops and it was the perfect casual dinner outfit! We finished the evening taking a stroll on the beach and just enjoying the water and each-others company, sappy I know.

On our last day we soaked up as much beach and pool as we could before heading home. I brought this fun pink suit from Aerie to snap some shots of and absolutely adore the color and style! Paired with some simple gold earrings, white sunnies, and pink lip I loved this look!

That’s about it for this years trip! We had a great time and just love our time by the water and hope to move closer to it again someday soon!

Engagement Story & Photos

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I’m finally doing a post about our engagement and sharing our photos from our fabulous photographer Emma Anne Photo! Our engagement story goes a little something like this, on May 20, 2017 the day before Travis’s birthday I had planned a birthday dinner for him at one of his favorite restaurants, Kobe’s. We were going with our friends Chris and Mer and I suspected nothing as I was just focused on celebrating my guys birthday. We got to the restaurant enjoyed our dinner and then I told the waiter to bring the cake out for Travis and instead Travis got up and started giving the whole table of 10 people a speech about me and I just looked at Mer and was like he’s drunk what is he doing! Then I realized and he turns to me and asks for my hand and asked me to marry him! *All the ugly crying* Seriously I was so shocked and happy!

Fast forward we have been engaged almost 2 years and finally took our engagement photos a few weeks ago! Check them out below and I have some tips for taking your own engagement or couples photos as well that I highly suggest not just as a blogger but a photographer myself.

I definitley recommend picking your outfits in advance colors and patterns that compliment each other we had two outfit options so we did one fancier outfit and one casual. The nicer look I found a jewel tone dress from Lulu’s and Travis wore classic black pants and suit jacket with a white button down. The casual outfit I chose a casual dress and fun pink wedge heels and Travis jeans and a short sleeve button down. I recommend lashes either extensions for falsies and a little heavier makeup, this makes a huge difference on camera! Also i suggest getting a mani and pedi because it’s all in the details! The little things are important and are noticed!

Above all else have fun and enjoy taking your photos together! This is a celebration of the two of you and memories that you will hold forever! Importantly print your photos, frame them and enjoy them!

April Ellie Look & Fitness Update

Happy April Everyone!

Time is just flying by this year! If you follow me over on Instagram @lifestyle_w_laramie you know that towards the beginning of February I decided to make a commitment to myself and replace “I don’t have time” with “It’s not a priority” when it came to my fitness schedule. Well once I started doing that my mind shifted and I started carving out time 4 times a week to workout, this is huge for me as I have never liked the gym. I’ve been a ballroom dancer my whole life and have never liked a gym atmosphere. however after college and not having as much dance at my disposal I became lazy and didn’t put myself first.

That ended almost two months ago because as we focus on wedding planning and building a life together I realize that if I don’t build these habits now with my health and wellness and focus on myself when will I ever? I want to be the best version of myself when I walk down the aisle not just physically, but mentally. That all starts with putting myself first and making moves!

That being said cute active-wear also motivates me to work out and y’all know that I have loved Ellie for years! They send the cutest work out clothes from the best brands! Below is a fun look from their April collection and I’m loving the cool cut outs on the pants! I definitely recommend checking them out especially if you’re looking to try some new pieces!

That’s all for today, just remember sometimes it’s important to put YOURSELF first! Take time for yourself, self care is so important and can really change everything you do and your outlook taking just a little time for yourself!

Bottomless Brunch with The Fountain Kitchen & Wine Bar

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

This past weekend Travis and I had the opportunity to attend Bottomless Brunch at The Fountain Kitchen & Wine Bar in Sarasota! We are huge foodies and love brunch so of course we were super excited to start off our Saturday with some yummy food and drinks!

If you have never been, The Fountain Kitchen & Wine Bar is quite literally located right behind a fountain and is located in the historic district of Sarasota, FL. The location itself if perfection located among super cute shops and businesses, this is a great brunch spot! The restaurant has a great patio space, perfect for when the weather is nice, we really enjoyed it! The inside is chic as well with a modern feel and focus on the bar and the wine on the walls, it’s so fun and different! Anyways, let’s talk drinks, first off the bottomless drinks are amazing and you have the option of mimosas or bellinis (my personal favorite). Next up the food, y’all the food what AMAZING! The menu is simple with something for everyone, whether you like sweet, savory, or classic there is something for you! I chose to go with the french toast with fresh berries and bacon, which was some of the best french toast I have ever had! It was perfectly soft and fluffy and the berries and cream were a perfect pairing! Travis ordered the breakfast pizza, if was more than a personal size and topped with eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, cheese and onion, it was Travis approved and he finished the whole thing! To top it all off the service was amazing! Our glasses were never empty and we were always taken care of!

So needless to say we had a great time at brunch on Saturday not only were the food and bottomless drinks amazing, the ambiance was so calming and easy going! It was so easy to enjoy ourselves and take our time sipping our drinks and relaxing on the patio! I would highly recommend checking them out for your next brunch! Check out their who menu HERE they are also open for lunch and dinner!

L-O-V-E & Valentines

Happy almost Valentine’s Day!

This is another super fun and Valentine’s inspired look for y’all! I grabbed this LOVE sweater from Old Navy during Christmas time funny enough and saved it for this month because it was a perfect fit! I paired it with my favorite high waisted shorts from Loft, pink Pumas from TJ Maxx and pink Michael Kors crossbody! I love a great sporty look and this one is so fun and kind of reminds me of old school jock sweaters, does anyone else love the movie Grease?! Anyway this is a great look if you are doing something casual tomorrow or maybe going shopping or brunch this weekend!

Travis and I have never been huge on the holiday, we don’t need a holiday to show how much we love each other but that’s just us. We actually have never had a good Valentine’s Day anyways and there is to much pressure on this holiday as it is. This year we are keeping it super low key, going out to our favorite BBQ spot and not worrying about pre-fixed menus, again that’s just us, to each his own.

To be honest I just love the pink and red and all the half off candy the day after Valentine’s Day, anyone else? Probably the best park about Valentine’s Day especially when I was younger and single was running to Target the day after Valentine’s and buying myself flowers and chocolate, buying myself a gift! LOL! It’s so important to love yourself first! Self love is key, don’t let a holiday change your mind or think that you have to be with someone, just saying.

Anyways enough of my rambling about this holiday! We are headed home this weekend for a special collaboration as well as tons of wedding planning! I will be taking you all along on IG and sharing more here on the blog when we get back! For now let me know what you have planned for tomorrow, or what outfit you’ll be sporting!

Viva Las Vegas

We just got back from our Las Vegas trip Tuesday morning so of course I had to let all know about the must sees and dos when visiting the strip!

We stayed at the Paris Hotel for a few nights to really experience the strip and walk around! The hotel was amazing so chic inside, crystal chandeliers everywhere and just an overall Paris vibe of course. The pool over looked the Eiffel Tower of the hotel and was an absolutely stunning view while laying out by the water.

Let's talk food! So as soon as we got off the plane at LAX we headed straight to In-N-Out for the first time EVER on our way to Las Vegas. Ya'll it was everything  I imagined and when you've been on a plane for hours and starving it tastes extra good! Another fun spot we checked out was Taco Bell Cantina, yes the food you can get anywhere but not the drinks they have 7 different slushy flavors in which you can add a shot of alcohol and have the perfect drink to beat the heat! To top it off we had to stop and get Fat Tuesdays because when in Vegas!

Some must do activities would include visiting old Vegas, Fremont St. and seeing everything there. Also if you are adventurous check out the High Roller Ferris Wheel the view is amazing and it is a perfect way to see the city! Of course if you have time check out a show they have tons to offer and tons of amazing singers have residencies in Vegas currently!

Lastly if you have time on your way out of Las Vegas make sure to stop at the Seven Magic Mountains! It is so cool and different, definitely a must to stop and take some photos with these colorful rocks! Do expect it to be packed I would highly suggest maybe getting there earlier in the morning to beat the crowd but again totally recommend it!

Have you ever been to Las Vegas? Let me know in the comments below we are thinking about going again sometime and exploring more!
