Transitioning from Summer to Fall with LC Lauren Conrad

Let’s talk about Fall! The official first day of fall is this weekend and I’m bringing this dress into the fall season! This midi dress is from LC Lauran Conrad from Kohl’s and it’s the perfect transition piece from summer to fall especially here in Florida! As for fall fashion I have more coming for y’all in the next few weeks! Lots of denim and jackets even though I won’t be wearing them here I’ll be taking them on upcoming trips with cooler temps!

As for fall plans! We have a quick trip up north for a family matter and then will be heading to the west coast in november! I’ll share more about that trip soon! Locally hoping to go to a pumpkin patch, fall festival and anything else we can find!

I have lots of fall content coming to the feed including recipes, fall decor, fall favorites, and fashion!

Not Saying Goodbye to Summer Just Yet

I’m sure most of you by now are pulling out fall décor and fall sweaters but we are still melting here in Florida! So I’m not saying goodbye to summer just yet, with my fashion anyways! This outfit is a perfect summer into fall without being full fall! Everything you see if from LC Lauren Conrad except my French blue scarf from Zestt Organics that can be worn a ton of ways! Their pieces are some of my favorites from fall and you’ll be seeing more of them here on the blog and over on the feed!

I’ll be honestly my full fall fashion probably won’t be making an appearance for a few more weeks, but it’s coming! I’ve grabbed a few pieces recently that I can’t wait to share with y’all so stay tuned!

All My Favorite Fall Fashion

I wanted to share some of my favorite fall fashion with you from over the years! It’s no secret we don’t really have fall here in Florida but we still like to break out the boots and the jackets!

I’m a lover of jeans, sweaters, midi dresses and layering pieces in the fall time going into winter. Layers especially because if it gets to hot you can shed some layers as the day goes on.

My favorite brands for fall would have to be mainly LC Lauren Conrad and Old Navy. Let’s not forget fall accessories; scarves, hats, and gold accessories! Anyone else?

Everyday Look & Home Décor

Happy Wednesday friends!

This week I wanted to share an easy everyday look with you, whether you are working from home or running errands around town this is an easy look from LC Lauren Conrad that I’m loving!

It’s no secret I love LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s and these pieces are no exception. I love a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt and her line kills it every time! The denim is my favorite and runs true to size with so many different washes and styles perfect for every shape and size! I appreciate that the t-shirts are a little longer so you can style those several ways to, whether you prefer a front tuck, un-tucked, or knotted on the side the length of these T’s are perfect. This has been my work from home uniform if I feel like changing it up from sweats and know I’m going somewhere this is it!

I’m also working on styling our new bar cart from Ashley Home Store and I decorated it a little bit for Valentine’s day but now I’m back to looking for normal decor for it and how I can style it better! Let me know if you have any suggestions for decorating a bar cart and what is a must for you!

Showing Myself Grace During Quarantine

Hope y’all are having a great week! I wanted to share this fun dress from London Times that is perfect for all your Spring and Summer parties, this would be great for a wedding or wedding festivities, lunch, shopping you name it! It’s super comfortable and light weight. This would even be cute with some sandals or wedges and maybe a clear bag! I paired mine with some amazing heels from Stein Mart and fun earrings from St. Armands Designs!

Also as things start opening again and we try and normalize everything I wanted to remind you whether or not you gained or lost weight during this quarantine not to beat up on yourself and love yourself regardless if your jeans are now a little tight or not. Remember to show yourself grace and appreciate your body, love yourself!

Powder Blue Look-Talking Easter Activities & Spring Fashion

Welcome to quarantine week 4 for me anyway, I’ve been working from home for 4 weeks now and we still have a while month to go at least right now with the stay at home order.

With Easter coming up this Sunday and most of us will still be indoors depending on where you live. I wanted to share another fun easy look for Easter as well as some fun activities you can still do while social distancing.

First off this is one of my favorite looks from LC Lauren Conrad’s recent collection for Kohl’s! I’m loving the pastel powder blue and the fun white accessories! This dress comes in several colors and is super comfortable and would be a perfect option for Easter inside or outdoor activities as home! The heels are super comfortable and fun along with the white cat eye sunnies, and floral bag perfect for spring and summer! Let’s all cross our fingers we have an actual summer this year with all of this! Those of you with yards and pools, enjoy it! I’m totally jelly! Living in an apartment with no porch I’ve been taking a daily walk to get some time outside.

As for Easter activities those of you with little ones or something fun just for family members now you can still do Easter egg hunts inside or in yard and get creative! I personally always make Travis an Easter basket, I love giving gifts so that’s something I always do and I hide eggs around the apartment with clues that will lead him to the basket, just something fun! You can also still do brunch or a big breakfast, cook some fun things and dig in!

However you celebrate this Sunday I hope you enjoy it!

Blush Pink Spring Look

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On Wednesdays we wear pink and I am so ready for spring and all the pastels! I’ve been living for this faux wrap dress from LC Lauren Conrad and I want it in every color! This dress is perfect for all body types with its fit and flare skirt and bubble sleeves it’s super flattering and fun for all seasons! It comes in several colors and is available at Kohl’s. This dress definitely runs true to size, if you’re curvier I recommend sizing up one, but I found my regular size large fit perfect!

I paired it with this Chanel dupe and LC Lauren Conrad block heels. This is a great look for Valentine’s, Easter, bridal showers, brunch, it’s a great dress to have in your closet! It can definitely be worn with some ballet flats and jean jacket or dressed up like this!

Pastels are classic for spring and you will be seeing a lot more pastels on the blog this season!

Perfect Green Jumpsuit

Happy Monday Everyone!

The blog schedule we be all over the place until the end of the year with the holidays fast approaching there are still several posts that I want to get up for y’all! That being said can we talk about this beautiful green jumpsuit from LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s. Florida temps are dropping but not to much and this is the perfect jumpsuit for the cooler days, especially paired with a denim jacket. I paired this with the black straw bag, y’all were obsessed with the spring/summer version of this bag that came in tan and other summer colors. I love the neutral shade to go with the snakeskin printed mules I think both shoes and bag complement the green jumper really well!

The jumpsuit it structured great with buttons and zipper at the front with the belted waist and puff sleeves give it something extra and makes it a more put together piece. Such a great piece to have in your closet, I could personally wear this to work, lunch, shopping out and about. I would recommend sizing up if you’re interested in the jumpsuit especially if you are curvier!

Wedding Update-86 Days Away

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

This week I wanted to share a wedding update with you and share the most recent things we’ve done and what we have lined up as we are in the home stretch, less than 3 months away, where did time go?!

2 weeks ago we went home to the venue for our tasting and to get a preview of our tables for the reception! It was better than I could’ve imagined the table was perfection! Out theme is very romantic and classic with blush, rose, and ivory tones with touched of rose gold and it was beautiful!

But let’s be honest one of the most important parts of a wedding is the food! What do you remember most about weddings you attend? The dress, the drinks, and the food hands down! So the food and drinks are super important to us, huge foodies here and I especially want people to remember that we had awesome food at our wedding! The tasting did not disappoint we tried several things that would be severed that day as we are doing stations and have tons of options so we tried something from each station basically, all AMAZING! Truly so good I can’t wait for everyone to eat up that day and enjoy themselves!

As for things we have coming up….I have my first dress fitting at the end of the month along with booking out hotel and making ceremony and music decisions are at the top of my list! We have our rings, attire, vendors, almost everything. We are just down to the small stuff now it’s all happening so fast!

Must Have Wrap Dress

This post didn’t go live when it was supposed to originally so I wanted to make sure you all got to check out one of my favorite pieces for fall and basically all year long, is this wrap dress from Old Navy! They have new prints and colors for fall and I need them all!

I love the attention to detail on this dress, the fabric is non wrinkle and there is an extra clasp at the top to cover up as much as you prefer, a curvy girl’s dream because low cut dress are always an issue! This dress is perfect to wear anywhere whether it be to work or out for lunch it’s the most comfortable dress you will find! I highly recommend grabbing one as it would be great with a denim jacket and booties or how I wore here with a block sandal and clear bag! This dress is a definite yes!
