I’m sure you all can relate but I love to refresh my space and we recently moved a few months ago and wanted to brighten up our living room without immediately investing in new furniture. Our quick and easy solution…a new rug!

Our new place doesn’t have any carpet in any of the rooms so we had already grabbed a rug from Wayfair for our bedroom so when we determined our living room was looking so dark we thought again to find a new rug on Wayfair to brighten the space up. Summer Backyard Inspo with Wayfair

I’m so exited to share the second part of this collaboration with Wayfair! I’m so inspired by coastal vides and clean lines so this outdoor set and outdoor umbrella is the perfect combination! We will be adding more of the items from the mood board below as we go but we are so excited with how it looks in the space!

Wayfair: Are there any color palettes or trends that are really speaking to you right now?

I love classic and timeless colors. I love black and white stripe and palm prints for accents but as far as furniture you can see here I love the coastal vibes of white and the teak wood.

Wayfair: What is your advice for maximizing outdoor living space for those who may only have a smaller patio or balcony?

We’ve had both now, places with smaller outdoor living spaces and larger spaces and it’s all about not overwhelming the space. Don’t cram in bigger pieces if they can’t fit. For a smaller space I love an outdoor rug with a cute bistro set and some string lights.

Wayfair: Sunshine and blue skies have us daydreaming about outdoor dining! What are your favorite style tips for alfresco tablescapes and entertaining?

I love an umbrella if you are dining outside along with fresh flowers on the table and playing with colors to enhance your outdoor pieces. If you have space I love seeing a longer table and chairs for dining and maybe a few other areas with chairs or a bench for seating and some games as well!

Wayfair: Which pieces do you recommend investing in for your outdoor space? Which pieces do you change out to keep your oasis fresh and on-trend?

I would definitely recommend investing in a set as we did with plenty of seating available and this set is great to change up the configuration. I love to change out pillows and décor based on season and trends!

2022-Making Plans & Setting Goals

Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope your new year has been off to a great start so far! We were sick during the holidays and are finally getting over it, as I was suffering from a sinus infection that kept lingering…ugh!

But enough of that, I wanted to share some updates and some goals I have for the new year with you! First off we are hoping and praying that this might be the year we get a house, now this is not for certain and hard to think about with the FL housing market booming and everyone moving here so we are keeping options open but that is something I would LOVE for us this year! As far as business goals, I’m hoping to double my income from last year and continue to serve my clients and help you all thrive on social media! A few personal goals include, I’m sure like most, to drink more water, move my body more and focus on my mental and physical health. Not for weight lose but to feel better!

New Year, Same Look

I’m sharing a go to look from LC Lauren Conrad that is perfect if you are going back to the office or just need a good basic look for everyday.

If you don’t know already Lauren Conrad jeans are some of my favorite denim! They are a staple in my closet and a must have if you haven’t tried them. I paired it with a fun silk top from Lauren Conrad as well and some Vionic flats that are my go to.

Again such a great, affordable look for the office or pieces just to have in your closet!

My Summer Essentials

It’s officially summer, so what better way to kick off my favorite season than to share my summer essentials!

I have so many favorites but to name a few: I absolutely love the Tula sunscreen I use it everyday and love that it is a gel like consistency which looks great with or without makeup! Next up Old Navy sandals the ones pictured are my favorites, I have them in every color and they are a staple for me! The next things hats and dresses from LC Lauren Conrad. Now it’s no secret that LC Lauren Conrad pieces are my absolute favorites but in the summer time I wear tons of dresses and love them paired with a hat and hers are my favorites! Fourth thing has to be Tarte Cosmetics the brand makes up a lot of my makeup bag and their blush and mascara are a must not matter if I’m doing a full face or just a 5 minute face. Finally a swimsuit from Artesands, their pieces are curve friendly and the most support cute suits ever! They are an investment but worth it!

Mid Century Modern Bedroom Details with AllModern

Happy Wednesday friends! I have a fun bedroom décor post for y’all today. sponsored by AllModern. 02.01.20- Our First Wedding Anniversary

It’s a special day today! It’s our 1 year wedding anniversary, we made it!

One year ago today was one of the best days of my life, everything I could of ever dreamed of for our day. It was perfect! I’m sharing more photos from our big day below .

As for our first year of marriage, it was pretty amazing. Now of course we had our ups and downs and lots of big changes happened in 2020 especially with everything going on with the pandemic. During our first year married, Travis started a new job, lost that job due to the pandemic and quickly made a career change and got a new job. I quit my 9-5 to pursue my dream and work for myself. We moved from Orlando to Sarasota. Tons of things happened during our first year! Truthfully it was rough but still amazing and perfect to do as a partnership, it all brought us closer together. We are stronger than ever and come out on top!
