What's Coming in 2023!

Hi Friends!

It’s been a while but I wanted to catch you up and give you some life updates! The holidays were extremely busy and we had quit a few life changes mixed into the last month of 2022 so I took a step back from social to focus on business.

In December Travis was let go from his job in mortgage, if you’re in that industry you get it, he’s making some career changes and helping me while I’m building my business A LOT! So needless to say we are working a lot right now building something that will provide us a lot of freedoms in the future!

Fast forward to the new year, my word for the year is CHANGE as there are many changes I’m hoping to make and see come to fruition this year! I’m focused strongly on my business and creating a healthier and more balanced lifestyle!

As we start to head into February already, wow! I’ll be bringing you all more lifestyle and fashion content along with some business tips and strategies that I’m loving!

New Office Look with Wayfair

I had the pleasure of working with Wayfair again on a new and updated at home office space for myself. I’ve been loving the light wood and white for that coastal feel! I’m still working on the artwork and the accessories but I absolutely love the desk, wardrobe rack, and the chair perfect for my blogging and working from home.

Y’all know I love all the options Wayfair offers and the prices can’t be beat! I needed very specific items and they had exactly what I was looking for! Everything came well packaged and easy to assemble and I absolutely love my work space!

Summer Backyard Inspo with Wayfair

I’m so exited to share the second part of this collaboration with Wayfair! I’m so inspired by coastal vides and clean lines so this outdoor set and outdoor umbrella is the perfect combination! We will be adding more of the items from the mood board below as we go but we are so excited with how it looks in the space!

Wayfair: Are there any color palettes or trends that are really speaking to you right now?

I love classic and timeless colors. I love black and white stripe and palm prints for accents but as far as furniture you can see here I love the coastal vibes of white and the teak wood.

Wayfair: What is your advice for maximizing outdoor living space for those who may only have a smaller patio or balcony?

We’ve had both now, places with smaller outdoor living spaces and larger spaces and it’s all about not overwhelming the space. Don’t cram in bigger pieces if they can’t fit. For a smaller space I love an outdoor rug with a cute bistro set and some string lights.

Wayfair: Sunshine and blue skies have us daydreaming about outdoor dining! What are your favorite style tips for alfresco tablescapes and entertaining?

I love an umbrella if you are dining outside along with fresh flowers on the table and playing with colors to enhance your outdoor pieces. If you have space I love seeing a longer table and chairs for dining and maybe a few other areas with chairs or a bench for seating and some games as well!

Wayfair: Which pieces do you recommend investing in for your outdoor space? Which pieces do you change out to keep your oasis fresh and on-trend?

I would definitely recommend investing in a set as we did with plenty of seating available and this set is great to change up the configuration. I love to change out pillows and décor based on season and trends!

Christmas Cocktails & Dessert

Last week we did a fun event for our community and I wanted to share some of it with you! Inspire you for any parties or events you have coming up this holiday season!

We did Christmas Cocktails including hot chocolate, eggnog, and champagne . We had an assortment of things people could spike their drinks with as well as hot chocolate toppings, garnish and all the fun, festive things! We also of course had desserts to go with the fun drinks!

The Perfect Thanksgiving Dress

Happy almost turkey day friends!

I have the perfect Thanksgiving dress for you! This faux wrap dress from LC Lauren Conrad is great for any occasion but especially for being comfortable and cute for Thanksgiving! This dress is easy to dress up with heels or wedges or keep it casual with some sneakers and a jacket. So no matter the look you are going for this dress is a great option! I also love that it isn’t form fitting so it’s super comfortable to wear while eating Thanksgiving meal!

Black Friday Shopping

We spent the weekend doing all the fall things and I wanted to share some of our moments!

We hit Magic Kingdom and Epcot on Saturday with our friends. It was so fun to see the fall decorations at Magic Kingdom and all the special things Disney has done for the 50 year anniversary! We hit Epcot in the evening for the food and wine festival and to check out the new fireworks, and y’all it was amazing!

Sunday we went to Southern Hill Farms in Clermont. If you’re in the Orlando area I highly recommend you check them out! They do a few different things throughout the year and it has been a tradition for all of us for the last few years. They have beautiful flower fields perfect for photos and of course all the fall treats and festivities so it is the perfect event for the season! Highly recommend!

Photo Tips & Resources for Blogging and Instagram

This week here on the blog I wanted to talk about some photo tips and resources that will help any of you content creators out there. Whether you take photos just for social media or use photography on your blog as well or for your business I have some things you could try!

First off having a consistent photo style as a content creator is key. For example whether I have my photographer take my photos or I take them myself they are always in the light and bright style. To achieve this myself I use my own presets which I love when I can’t work with my photographer. You can actually use these presets yourself as well! Life Update: Moving, Future Planning, and Goal Setting

Happy Wednesday friends!

This week I wanted to share a life update and talk about a few things here that I’m super excited about!

First off Travis and I are getting ready to move…again! Yes you might recall we made a move last November and not even a year later we are moving again, this time only about 20 minutes away so not a big deal. We received an amazing opportunity we couldn’t pass up and are super excited for a bigger space and new place (hopefully the last new place before a house). I’ll be sharing more décor posts and home things on the blog as this place we will be replacing a lot of furniture and different things that would come with us to a house.

This move is going to allow us to hopefully start preparing for buying a house soon so we are doing everything we can to really prepare and set ourselves up for success when we finally decide to purchase a home. The market is super crazy right now so we are holding off for now.

Finally I’m working on some major goal setting and working on those goals before my 30th birthday at the end of the year. Some of those goals include working on my health, bettering my business, and really preparing to start my 30’s off right.

I’ve recently been asked how exactly I help my clients with social media. Well I big part of what I do is help my clients with content creation. This could include photos, videos, reels, and more.

Now yes we all want more followers and engagement but at the end of the day the thing that attracts people and gets the followers and the likes is quality content. Without it you won’t be able to attract your ideal client.

As this has been a hot topic in my inbox I wanted to address that here. I’m a social media consultant and that entails many things and different things for each client. Content of course is a huge part, along with branding and what the client wants their social media and brand to look like, along with many other things.
