My Top 5 Must Have Spring Accessories

Hi friends, happy Wednesday!

We are full on Spring over here and honestly getting into summer so I wanted to share my top 5 must have accessories for spring and honestly summer too! These are pieces you will see on repeat for me and classic items that truly won’t go out of style!

1. Neutral Bag - I have several neutral bags that are mostly wicker and perfect for this time of year, especially here in Florida. Also love these bags for vacations and anything tropical!

2. Neutral Hat - Protect your face from the sun and wear a hat or just give yourself a little edge and top of your look with a hat! Again great items for vacation and spring/summer time!

3. White Bag - I love a good white bag for summer and honestly year round! Especially in the spring/summer time though it gives a fresh vide to any look! This one has been good to me for a few years now and I love it!

4. Cute Sunnies - Again FL girl here and we always need our sunglasses and an extra cute pair to finish a look in a must have accessory! They give some extra pizazz to a look.

5. Fun Earrings - I don’t wear much jewelry but I always need my earrings! That being said I love more fun/colorful pieces during this time of year and they can easily dress up an outfit.

Summer 2020 Recap

As summer comes to close even though here in the sunshine state it’s boiling hot, I wanted to give an ode to summer as it is my favorite season next to winter! The whole year has been a bit different but summer especially was different for me and my family! Summer is the time we vacation and visit family up north which is unfortunately on the back burner until regulations change on some things. It’s been a tough season this year.

However some really exciting things have happened this summer! I hired a business coach at the start of summer and she has brought me into a new season of working for myself! This summer all within a couple of month’s Travis lost his job, started an amazing new job, and I left my job to pursue my passion, y’all it’s unreal to think this is our life right now!

So just remember no matter how tough things get there is something better coming! I promise! You just need to believe it!

Getting Over Insecurities

Let’s talk insecurities.

I’m sharing two of my biggest insecurities on these photos below! My first one wearing my hair up in a photo, I hate it! Can anyone relate? I always feel like I can’t pull off a ponytail in a photo. Thankfully Kate, my photographer convinced me and I love the result! I’ve just never felt that I could pull it off and that it would emphasis my round face.

My second is wearing white denim. My whole life I have NEVER owned white denim until these LC Lauren Conrad white denim skinnys came along! They are great, not see through, and stretchy! They are everything I didn’t expect but we all know this brand does a lot of things right and this is just one of them! I also love that the brand is size inclusive as I’ve mentioned before both petite and plus! What a win!

Random Rambles & Summer Gingham

Happy Wednesday Babes!

Hope y’all are having a great week thus far! This week I wanna talk a little bit about this look but I also have a lot of random rabbles and life update! First off I’m super over whelmed with work right now as we are in busy season, from 9-5pm I work in the real estate industry and it is never a dull moment! I have the pleasure of meeting a lot of amazing and interesting people but y’all this business is not for the faint of heart. But anyway I’ve been struggling a lot with balancing work and what I really love doing which is my blog and photo business. I would love to tell y’all I have it all figured out but that is just not the case. I’m working on organizing and managing my time better and will update you later on what I’m changing and doing.

As for the blog I’m working on a lot of new content for you, trying to expand more and not just focus on fashion but beauty and lifestyle. I have tons coming up with summer fashion, wedding planning tips and tricks, organization, and everything in between. I would love if you could let me know what you are wanting to see or need on the blog! Please let me know in the comments below!

As for wedding there is a lot happening! I’m mostly excited for my bachelorette weekend as I know a little bit about it and it’s at my favorite place! I can not wait! Super excited for picturesque moments with my best babes! Stay tuned for more!

Ok lastly lets talk about this look really quick! I’m loving the gingham trend right now and this little number you guessed it is from Old Navy! I paired it with my favorite summer sandals right now, my favorite amazon clear bag and Kate Spade necklace. I’m living for the bright colors and summer feel and the fabric on this is super light weight, perfect for this FL weather!

Annual Daytona Beach Trip

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Y’all know that for the past few years now Travis and I have taken a little weekend vacay once a year to Daytona Beach and it’s a great time for us to reset and enjoy the start of summer! I love to share travel blogs with y’all the most probably because traveling and doing something different than everyday life is fun and a great escape!

We got to The Hyatt Place on Friday and immediately went to the pool to relax and enjoy golden hour before grabbing pizza at my favorite pizza place in Daytona, Rossellini’s! We get a basic cheese and peperonni pizza with ranch and y’all it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been for pizza!

Saturday we hit the beach and pool pretty much all day after grabbing our complimentary breakfast at the hotel. I’m loving all the gingham this summer and this suit from Old Navy is not exception. I paired it with some retro sunnies, also from Old Navy and some earrings from Bauble Bar, topped it off with a red lip and you could say I was probably the most over done person at the pool, LOL!

Moving on to Saturday evening we decided to check out a new restaurant as we tend to go to the same places while we are here. We decided to give Cocina 214-Daytona Beach a try! Y’all this is probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Their queso blanco with chorizo and chip is out of this world! Seriously what dreams are made of! Travis got tacos with rice and beans and I got the enchiladas and we were not disappointed! Everything was amazing! The restaurant itself is stunning inside and looks out to the water so I decided to wear this little tropical print number to dinner. Again the dress is from Old Navy paired with my go to summer LC Lauren Conrad straw bag with flip-flops and it was the perfect casual dinner outfit! We finished the evening taking a stroll on the beach and just enjoying the water and each-others company, sappy I know.

On our last day we soaked up as much beach and pool as we could before heading home. I brought this fun pink suit from Aerie to snap some shots of and absolutely adore the color and style! Paired with some simple gold earrings, white sunnies, and pink lip I loved this look!

That’s about it for this years trip! We had a great time and just love our time by the water and hope to move closer to it again someday soon!

Flirty Summer Look

I’m sharing some more fun pieces from LC Lauren Conrad below! This dress is super fun and flirty! The dress is super light and comfortable and I love the sleeves and the button details in the front! I’m also obsessing over this circle straw bag from LC Lauren Conrad as well! Straw bags are a big trend this season and this one is the perfect size, and I love that it has handles and can go cross body as well!

Y’all know I love LC Lauren Conrad and I especially love that the line is size inclusive offering Petite and Plus sizes as well! I definitely resonate with the term “in-betweenie” as I’m a regular size Medium or Large depending on the brand. I very much appreciate size inclusive brands like LC Lauren Conrad that offer a huge array of sizing for all shapes and sizes! I love that!

Summertime Fun with ArteSands Swim

Happy Wednesday ya'll! We are officially half way through the week! YAY! Can anyone else believe we are already more than half way through the year? Where does time go, truly?! Anyway we are still very much feeling the heat here in the sunshine state, so all the more reason to be living in our swimsuits!

The Perfect Shoe...For Everyone with Shoes of Prey

Ya'll know I love a good pair of shoes! It's no secret that my closet is filled with every kind of shoes and no lie the line from the movie, In Her Shoes about how clothes don't always look good but shoes always fit is everything! Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July ya'll!

Some of my favorite memories with my family are spending the 4th in Michigan with all our extended family cooking out and watching the fireworks over the lake! I haven't been to Michigan in the summer time for a couple years but if you ever have the chance I highly recommend it! The town has a parade and blueberry festival along with so many other fun activities for the 4th!

Here's my fun take on red, white, and blue for the 4th of July. I've been loving pieces from Loft lately and they have some super fun pieces for summer currently! Both the shorts and navy top are from Loft and were super discounted, I got both pieces for under $35. Loft always has some of the best sales around especially when it comes to mark downs on top of sale prices! 

I paired this look with some fun sandals from Old Navy and my Coach purse. I love a great deal and designer bags are no exception! I always try if possible to grab a bag when it is on sale or has made it to the outlet store. This bag was a investment piece but you can't beat the quality and I've worn it almost everyday this year, definitely worth the money!

Hamptons Vibes

Happy Wednesday ya'll! Summer is in full swing, especially here in FL and this has to be one of my favorite looks to date! i snagged this Vince Camuto Jumpsuit from TJ Maxx for only $40 isn't that amazing! I love a great deal on high end pieces and TJ Maxx never disappoints. This look is very different from what I'm used to, more bold, bright, and colorful but as long as you like it and feel confident in it that's all that matters! Right?!

This look gives me all the resort feels and makes me feel like I'm in The Hamptons on a vacay! What accessory gives you all the vacay feels? A big floppy hat of course! This LC by Lauren Conrad hat has been my everything since the moment I purchased it! It goes great with everything and is perfect for the beach, pool, picnics, you name it! 

I finished the looks with some pink wedges and gold oval hoop earrings keeping the accessories minimal and clean since the jumper is so loud and vibrant. Jumpers and rompers have quickly become my favorite look this summer since they are so easy and perfect for the heat! 

So between the V-neck on the jumper, the print, the accessories, this looks can really take you anywhere! I've worn this to work paired with a sweater and the same wedges. I've worn it to a conference/event and out to eat! This is perfect for pretty much anywhere and you don't have to try to hard! Summer Night Out

Summer is probably my favorite season next to spring not only for the beach days and fun trips but the fashion! I love the bright colors and fun accessories. Summer is a time to be playful and just have fun and what better way to do that than with your wardrobe? Am I right?! Some of my best memories and fashion moments have definitely been in the summer time which is why I'm so excited to share this look with ya'll!

Date night usually consist of myself wearing skinny jeans and a cute (usually black or white) top and wedges. So I've decided to switch it up a bit, with the FL sunshine as hot as ever you don't need an excuse to wear a sundress. This is one of my go to's for summer, yes I know it has long sleeves but this dress is the lightest most breathable cotton and the sleeves eliminate having to bring a sweater to happy hour or the movies. I added the fun pineapple clutch for that fun summer touch and some nude wedges that are the most comfortable things ever, and with a fiance who's over 6 ft. tall I tend to sway towards wedges when I can (short girl here).
