I’m sharing some fun summer looks with y’all here today but I just wanted to chat about summer really quick and why I love it so much! Most FL locals hate summer because it gets so darn hot but let me tell you I love it! The snowbirds have finally gone home and it doesn’t take an hour to go a few miles anymore! I love the summer rain and fun beach days it’s something about summer that lights my soul on fire! It’s a time that feels magical, a summer daze if you will! Summer is a time for rest and relaxation, family BBQs, and fun! There’s just something about summer!

LC Lauren Conrad- Apartment Refresh Pt. 1

Hi Friends!

Long time no talk! I took a bit of a hiatus for a bit as I hired a business coach a few months ago to help me take my business to the next level so I’ve been really dedicating so much time and energy to building the blog and offerings to benefit y’all even more! With that being said I will share more about all of this later and some big changes I’m making!

Today I wanted to share part 1 of my apartment refresh that LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s helped me with! As we have all been staying home more and focusing on improving our space I teamed up with LC Lauren Conrad on a fun refresh that you too can do to your home or apartment!

First off is the living room. Let’s be honest we probably spend most of our time in the living room when we are home and this beautiful LC Lauren Conrad Rug really brought the space together and the rug is such great quality and very soft! I love the colors too and can say enough good things about this rug for the space! The brand offers several different rugs all unique and very different than anything I’ve seen so needless to say I’m impressed!

So next time your want to refresh your living area think of changing out the throw pillows or the rug as they are quick and decently inexpensive things to change! A rug really helps define a space and in an apartment it really helps make it feel more homey!

I’ve also been obsessed with this outfit also from LC Lauren Conrad as it’s still very hot here in Florida and shorts and light weight tops is where it’s at! I have these shorts and this top in multiple colors and they are definitely staples for me! Great quality and signature pieces that I can’t recommend enough as well!

Look and Rug gifted from Kohl’s

Jewel Tones for Fall

Happy Wednesday babe!

This week we are talking about jewel tones and jumpsuits and going into fall. If you’re anything like me you love jewel tones especially for the fall season! Give me all the emerald, cobalt, and amber colors! I love the richness of the colors and how they compliment fall fashion! Let’s talk about another thing I love…jumpsuits! I love a good jumpsuit and this one took me by surprise from Old Navy! I love the amber/mustard color and the polka-dot print! Jumpsuits just like dresses are a great one and done, one complete outfit in one piece, my perfect scenario!

I love that this jumpsuit in particular is a light weight material and can still be worn from summer into fall I paired this below more for summer with a block heel sandal and clear bag perfect for brunch or shopping, I’m obsessed with this look! I also love that you can take this into fall with a denim jacket and some flats and cross body bag. The jumpsuit was $25 on sale and the sandals I’ve been wearing all summer also from Old Navy and the bag is from Amazon because they kill it in the accessory department!

Getting Over Insecurities

Let’s talk insecurities.

I’m sharing two of my biggest insecurities on these photos below! My first one wearing my hair up in a photo, I hate it! Can anyone relate? I always feel like I can’t pull off a ponytail in a photo. Thankfully Kate, my photographer convinced me and I love the result! I’ve just never felt that I could pull it off and that it would emphasis my round face.

My second is wearing white denim. My whole life I have NEVER owned white denim until these LC Lauren Conrad white denim skinnys came along! They are great, not see through, and stretchy! They are everything I didn’t expect but we all know this brand does a lot of things right and this is just one of them! I also love that the brand is size inclusive as I’ve mentioned before both petite and plus! What a win!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July y’all!

We are celebrating the 4th with family this year! I’ll be sharing all about our trip coming soon but I wanted to share this super fun look today! I always love having a fun red,white, and blue look for the 4th but especially pieces that I can wear all throughout the year with other things!

This retro dress comes in tons of colors and lengths at Old Navy and the fabric is super light weight and easy to wear! I paired mine with a distressed white denim jacket from LC Lauren Conrad along with blue heel sandals also LC Lauren Conrad and retro inspired sunnies also from Old Navy and Kate Spade earrings!

I just appreciate that all the pieces are good paired with other things in my closet! The dress would be cute with sandals. The jacket is cute with other dresses or pants and a top and those shoes go with everything!

Random Rambles & Summer Gingham

Happy Wednesday Babes!

Hope y’all are having a great week thus far! This week I wanna talk a little bit about this look but I also have a lot of random rabbles and life update! First off I’m super over whelmed with work right now as we are in busy season, from 9-5pm I work in the real estate industry and it is never a dull moment! I have the pleasure of meeting a lot of amazing and interesting people but y’all this business is not for the faint of heart. But anyway I’ve been struggling a lot with balancing work and what I really love doing which is my blog and photo business. I would love to tell y’all I have it all figured out but that is just not the case. I’m working on organizing and managing my time better and will update you later on what I’m changing and doing.

As for the blog I’m working on a lot of new content for you, trying to expand more and not just focus on fashion but beauty and lifestyle. I have tons coming up with summer fashion, wedding planning tips and tricks, organization, and everything in between. I would love if you could let me know what you are wanting to see or need on the blog! Please let me know in the comments below!

As for wedding there is a lot happening! I’m mostly excited for my bachelorette weekend as I know a little bit about it and it’s at my favorite place! I can not wait! Super excited for picturesque moments with my best babes! Stay tuned for more!

Ok lastly lets talk about this look really quick! I’m loving the gingham trend right now and this little number you guessed it is from Old Navy! I paired it with my favorite summer sandals right now, my favorite amazon clear bag and Kate Spade necklace. I’m living for the bright colors and summer feel and the fabric on this is super light weight, perfect for this FL weather!

Annual Daytona Beach Trip

Happy Wednesday Friends!

Y’all know that for the past few years now Travis and I have taken a little weekend vacay once a year to Daytona Beach and it’s a great time for us to reset and enjoy the start of summer! I love to share travel blogs with y’all the most probably because traveling and doing something different than everyday life is fun and a great escape!

We got to The Hyatt Place on Friday and immediately went to the pool to relax and enjoy golden hour before grabbing pizza at my favorite pizza place in Daytona, Rossellini’s! We get a basic cheese and peperonni pizza with ranch and y’all it’s one of the best places I’ve ever been for pizza!

Saturday we hit the beach and pool pretty much all day after grabbing our complimentary breakfast at the hotel. I’m loving all the gingham this summer and this suit from Old Navy is not exception. I paired it with some retro sunnies, also from Old Navy and some earrings from Bauble Bar, topped it off with a red lip and you could say I was probably the most over done person at the pool, LOL!

Moving on to Saturday evening we decided to check out a new restaurant as we tend to go to the same places while we are here. We decided to give Cocina 214-Daytona Beach a try! Y’all this is probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Their queso blanco with chorizo and chip is out of this world! Seriously what dreams are made of! Travis got tacos with rice and beans and I got the enchiladas and we were not disappointed! Everything was amazing! The restaurant itself is stunning inside and looks out to the water so I decided to wear this little tropical print number to dinner. Again the dress is from Old Navy paired with my go to summer LC Lauren Conrad straw bag with flip-flops and it was the perfect casual dinner outfit! We finished the evening taking a stroll on the beach and just enjoying the water and each-others company, sappy I know.

On our last day we soaked up as much beach and pool as we could before heading home. I brought this fun pink suit from Aerie to snap some shots of and absolutely adore the color and style! Paired with some simple gold earrings, white sunnies, and pink lip I loved this look!

That’s about it for this years trip! We had a great time and just love our time by the water and hope to move closer to it again someday soon!

Flirty Summer Look

Happy Monday Babes!

I’m sharing some more fun pieces from LC Lauren Conrad below! This dress is super fun and flirty! The dress is super light and comfortable and I love the sleeves and the button details in the front! I’m also obsessing over this circle straw bag from LC Lauren Conrad as well! Straw bags are a big trend this season and this one is the perfect size, and I love that it has handles and can go cross body as well!

Y’all know I love LC Lauren Conrad and I especially love that the line is size inclusive offering Petite and Plus sizes as well! I definitely resonate with the term “in-betweenie” as I’m a regular size Medium or Large depending on the brand. I very much appreciate size inclusive brands like LC Lauren Conrad that offer a huge array of sizing for all shapes and sizes! I love that!

Perfect Neutrals with LC Lauren Conrad

Happy Wednesday babes!

Dresses are always my go to for the summer time, especially here in Florida! Dresses aren’t just the easiest thing to wear with just one and done piece but also something that is breathable and comfortable. I love this look from LC Lauren Conrad as the dress is perfect to wear at the office with flats as you see here, or with a denim jacket and sandals or wedges for the perfect brunch look! It’s so easy to wear and change for any occasion!

A Sea of Blue

Happy Thursday y’all!

This is a throwback Thursday to my favorite look I work on our recent cruise! I mean I love the blue on blue aspect of this whole thing. When planning my looks for the cruise this was a definite, you know blue seas, blue outfit, you get it! Anyway this dress is from Forever 21 and I got it for a steal for under $20, and finished the look with these fun blue tinted aviators and my favorite summer wedges from Macy’s.

We shot this look at the top of the ship in some of my favorite areas. I just love all the blue tons and the I just love how the whole look cam together.
