LC Lauren Conrad- Apartment Refresh Pt. 1

Hi Friends!

Long time no talk! I took a bit of a hiatus for a bit as I hired a business coach a few months ago to help me take my business to the next level so I’ve been really dedicating so much time and energy to building the blog and offerings to benefit y’all even more! With that being said I will share more about all of this later and some big changes I’m making!

Today I wanted to share part 1 of my apartment refresh that LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s helped me with! As we have all been staying home more and focusing on improving our space I teamed up with LC Lauren Conrad on a fun refresh that you too can do to your home or apartment!

First off is the living room. Let’s be honest we probably spend most of our time in the living room when we are home and this beautiful LC Lauren Conrad Rug really brought the space together and the rug is such great quality and very soft! I love the colors too and can say enough good things about this rug for the space! The brand offers several different rugs all unique and very different than anything I’ve seen so needless to say I’m impressed!

So next time your want to refresh your living area think of changing out the throw pillows or the rug as they are quick and decently inexpensive things to change! A rug really helps define a space and in an apartment it really helps make it feel more homey!

I’ve also been obsessed with this outfit also from LC Lauren Conrad as it’s still very hot here in Florida and shorts and light weight tops is where it’s at! I have these shorts and this top in multiple colors and they are definitely staples for me! Great quality and signature pieces that I can’t recommend enough as well!

Summer Look with LC Lauren Conrad and Life Update

Hi Friend!

Happy Wednesday! I want to share some things that have been in the works with you!

So overall I’ve been super busy growing my business when I’m not working on my 9-5 and trying to have a personal life! But I’m sure you’ve heard that saying about 6 months of hard focus can really push you ahead in the next 5 years or something like that. So right now I’m in strong focus mode!

On Monday 8/10 Lifestyle with Laramie turned 4 years old and wow I can’t believe it! When I started my blog four years ago I was looking for a creative outlet for myself from my stressful 9-5 day job and a blog was perfect for me! I enjoy writing and sharing with you all!

Spring Fashion Florals

Summer fashion is headed your way but I have another cute spring dress from LC Lauren Conrad that is cute for spring and summer. Y’all know I love soft pastels and this light yellow is something a little different for me! I love the balloon sleeve detail and floral print paired with these super sweet block heels and the cutest wicker heart bag. I love this for something a little more fancy, again great for weddings or brunch.

Y’all know I love dresses for spring and summer, I practically live in them because it is just to hot in Florida to bother with anything else. This is is another super light easy to wear fit, as we get more into summer you’ll definitely see more bold colors and prints from me as that’s what I love for summer! Maxi and t-shirt dresses to as well as graphic T’s y’all know I love my t-shirts!

Showing Myself Grace During Quarantine

Happy Wednesday friends!

Hope y’all are having a great week! I wanted to share this fun dress from London Times that is perfect for all your Spring and Summer parties, this would be great for a wedding or wedding festivities, lunch, shopping you name it! It’s super comfortable and light weight. This would even be cute with some sandals or wedges and maybe a clear bag! I paired mine with some amazing heels from Stein Mart and fun earrings from St. Armands Designs!

Also as things start opening again and we try and normalize everything I wanted to remind you whether or not you gained or lost weight during this quarantine not to beat up on yourself and love yourself regardless if your jeans are now a little tight or not. Remember to show yourself grace and appreciate your body, love yourself!

Y’all know I love London Times, their dresses are so chic and classic and perfect for every occasion! I wanted to share this super cute white number especially for all my future brides out there or any of you girls looking for a great white summer dress!

As we continue to spend most of our time at home I wanted to showcase this look at home and how I thing you can still dress up and be at home, do whatever makes you feel beautiful and comfortable! Are you wearing mostly lounge wear or wearing normal day to day clothing as you were going to work?

When we are able to go out again this is the perfect dress for brunch, shopping, or just running around it’s so put together but would be great with sandals too!

Quarantine Tie-Dye

Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope you’re hanging in there with all of this going on! Here is FL the state is slowly opening in Phase 1 but we are still doing as much as we can by staying home and only going out for essentials.

Needless to say I’ve been spending a lot of time in my lounge wear and have jumped on the tie-dye train and purchased some pieces to lounge around and work from home in! I’ve been loving these pullovers from American Eagle as well as several pairs of their comfy shorts from Aerie as well! They have had some great sales going on and amazing pieces for this season, highly recommend checking them out!

Being at home I’ve also starting shooting some in my apartment since we are all at home right now. I also wanted to share one of the tie-dye pieces that I’ve purchased recently and check in with y’all and see how you’re doing! Let me know below!

Daydreams of Summer!

Wishing it was Spring Break and that we were cruising somewhere tropical! Anyone else?!

The hardest part about this whole thing is this girl thrives being by the water, y’all know I was born and raised in a beach town and it’s ingrained in my soul, the water is a part of me and not being able to go home and visit my parents or go to the beach is heart breaking!

I’ll be packing this outfit on the first trip we can take when this is all over! I found the LC Lauren Conrad romper on clearance over the winter and love it and the banana print, I paired it with some fun fringe sandals and the cutest spring hat! Again everything is from Kohl’s mostly all from last year but they have tons of cute similar items right now!

Dreaming of summer and a normal world again! I want to travel and go to restraunts again, visit my parents and the beach! I want all the things! Anyone else!?

Everything is Just Peachy

It’s all Just Peachy!

A lot of you voted on a recent IG poll and said you wanted to see spring fashion and looks. Tons more is coming your way but this look is super springy and definitely makes me wish I was sitting by the water eating brunch, but this to shall pass and those days will be back and we will all be forever grateful for that!

These are more new pieces for LC Lauren Conrad’s current collection at Kohl’s. Y’all know I love a good graphic T-shirt and this is one of my favorites EVER! Truth be told I say this all the time, it’s always my response to when people ask me how things are going “Just Peachy” it’s perfect! I love it pair with this flirty little skirt and wedges and hair clip! All these pieces would be paired great with other pieces in your closet! Super affordable and great staples for your closet!

I’ll be sharing a post soon on everything I’ve learned and accomplished during this time in quarantine, one of my goals is to completely go through the apartment and purge, especially the closet!

Powder Blue Look-Talking Easter Activities & Spring Fashion

Welcome to quarantine week 4 for me anyway, I’ve been working from home for 4 weeks now and we still have a while month to go at least right now with the stay at home order.

With Easter coming up this Sunday and most of us will still be indoors depending on where you live. I wanted to share another fun easy look for Easter as well as some fun activities you can still do while social distancing.

First off this is one of my favorite looks from LC Lauren Conrad’s recent collection for Kohl’s! I’m loving the pastel powder blue and the fun white accessories! This dress comes in several colors and is super comfortable and would be a perfect option for Easter inside or outdoor activities as home! The heels are super comfortable and fun along with the white cat eye sunnies, and floral bag perfect for spring and summer! Let’s all cross our fingers we have an actual summer this year with all of this! Those of you with yards and pools, enjoy it! I’m totally jelly! Living in an apartment with no porch I’ve been taking a daily walk to get some time outside.

As for Easter activities those of you with little ones or something fun just for family members now you can still do Easter egg hunts inside or in yard and get creative! I personally always make Travis an Easter basket, I love giving gifts so that’s something I always do and I hide eggs around the apartment with clues that will lead him to the basket, just something fun! You can also still do brunch or a big breakfast, cook some fun things and dig in!

Loving Lavender-Talking Spring & Easter

Happy April Everyone!

I’m one week three of working from home, how about you? How are you doing with the current situation right now? I took a poll over on my Instagram over the weekend and the majority of you said you weren’t shopping but were still browsing and wanted to see new things! Y’all also said you wanted to see move spring fashion as well! Although we might be stuck inside for Easter this year I wanted to share what I was planning on wearing next Sunday!

You know I love pastels and I’ve been loving lavender recently! I grabbed this Gal Meets Glam dress last year on sale and thought it would be perfect for Easter and spring festivities, unfortunately didn’t know what was coming for us this year, but hey let’s make the most of it, still dress up, still make a nice brunch, and celebrate Easter!

I’m planning on cooking brunch and doing a little something for Travis since we do baskets for each other usually for Easter, it’s a tradition in my family! I’ll still be dressing up and possibly wearing this dress!

Spring Shoes & Accessories Must Haves-Featuring Vionic Shoes

Last week we talking about spring fashion and some trends that are huge for spring. This week I want to share some ways I accessorize for spring and my go to accessories for spring!

Being a Florida girl I love my sandals not just for Spring and Summer but year round! I’ve been obsessed with these Gold Kirra Perf Sandals from Vionic since I received them! They are super comfortable and provide actual support to the arch of the foot and are super well made! I highly recommend checking them out for comfortable and stylish shoes!

Also with sandals I love a few other keys accessories for spring; I love headbands, statement earrings, and bags! Especially for spring I’m living for the clear bag trend still along with a good white bag, making any look more spring! Headbands have been all the rage for the last several months and spring is no exception, Amazon has tons of great affordable ones! Y’all know I love my statement earrings and Kate Spade have some of my favorites for this time of year!

Spring Neutrals with Zestt Organics

Happy Wednesday babes!

I’ve been talking about spring fashion a lot here on the blog and over on IG and I wanted to talk about spring neutrals with y’all. I love color don’t get me wrong but you can never go wrong with neutrals! It’s key to have great neutrals in your closet to mix and match or wear all together!
