Summer Backyard Inspo with Wayfair

I’m so exited to share the second part of this collaboration with Wayfair! I’m so inspired by coastal vides and clean lines so this outdoor set and outdoor umbrella is the perfect combination! We will be adding more of the items from the mood board below as we go but we are so excited with how it looks in the space!

Wayfair: Are there any color palettes or trends that are really speaking to you right now?

I love classic and timeless colors. I love black and white stripe and palm prints for accents but as far as furniture you can see here I love the coastal vibes of white and the teak wood.

Wayfair: What is your advice for maximizing outdoor living space for those who may only have a smaller patio or balcony?

We’ve had both now, places with smaller outdoor living spaces and larger spaces and it’s all about not overwhelming the space. Don’t cram in bigger pieces if they can’t fit. For a smaller space I love an outdoor rug with a cute bistro set and some string lights.

Wayfair: Sunshine and blue skies have us daydreaming about outdoor dining! What are your favorite style tips for alfresco tablescapes and entertaining?

I love an umbrella if you are dining outside along with fresh flowers on the table and playing with colors to enhance your outdoor pieces. If you have space I love seeing a longer table and chairs for dining and maybe a few other areas with chairs or a bench for seating and some games as well!

Wayfair: Which pieces do you recommend investing in for your outdoor space? Which pieces do you change out to keep your oasis fresh and on-trend?

I would definitely recommend investing in a set as we did with plenty of seating available and this set is great to change up the configuration. I love to change out pillows and décor based on season and trends!

Summer Update & How You Can Work With Me

I’m due to give you a summer update and spill some tea!

I was supposed to be sharing a fun vacation blog post with you today as we were supposed to be on vacation last week in Michigan and unfortunately we had to cancel very last minute as our little pup Chewy got sick and we couldn’t leave him :(

So we did our best to have a staycation and still give ourselves a much needed break and this week we are back to the grind! All this to say after many conversations with Travis and looking into some things I will be shifting some things in my business.

What does this mean? Well this means if you would like to hire me as your social media manager you can still do so but I only have two spots left as I’m only taking on 5 clients per quarter. You will also be seeing more blogging and fashion content mixed back into my posts as I expand on some other passions and platforms!

Happy Birthday To My Husband!

Sentimental blog post for you this week as this weekend is my husband’s birthday! I wanted to share some of my favorite memories with him and celebrate him on this space.

I’m sure I’ve shared before but we have been together over 10 years and I’m so grateful for the relationship and partner I have in him. Travis is the most caring and sweet man! I never thought when I was younger that I would find someone so amazing and loving, it didn’t seem realistic. He more so found me and knew right away, I needed more convincing, but once I realized it was game over. He was it!

I’m so happy to celebrate another birthday with him and cherish the memories and can’t wait for all that’s to come! Happy birthday babe!

End of Q1-Check In!

We are about to enter Q2 already and I’m so excited to be moving ahead and see what’s in store!

In Q1 I made the decision to hire a new business coach and she has been such a pleasure to work with and learn from. I’ve started implementing new systems and practices to better my business and show up more for my clients. I’ve been restructuring how I show up on social media as well and though I haven’t been on IG much lately I’m planning things out to be there more consistently, sometimes we all need a refresh and a reboot! Hi, that’s me!

However looking into Q2 things will be shifting and changing. We will find out if we are staying at our current place or will be considering house hunting…hard to fathom right now! I will also be accepting new clients! So if you are interested in working with me quarter 2 click HERE and fill out our preliminary survey! JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes Weekend

Happy Wednesday friends!

I have an extra special post for you today! I had the amazing opportunity to take a weekend getaway with my husband and puppy to the JW Marriott in Orlando this past weekend and y’all in was heavenly!

I can’t recommend enough if you are traveling to Orlando that you stay at Grande Lakes and really enjoy your trip and everything the hotel has to offer! I’m sharing a look at the hotel and everything they have to offer as well as the amazing restaurants and fun things to do! Keep scrolling to check it out!

When Travis and I arrived on Friday we headed to have some lunch at Bleu. This is located on the Ritz-Carlton side of Grande Lakes and they have delicious fresh bites and the prettiest views! They are also conveniently located close to the Ritz pool so if you are looking for a yummy bite or drink this is the spot!

From there we walked the grounds a bit to really enjoy the beautiful scenery and the nice weather that we had this past weekend. We then headed to our room to relax and then get ready for dinner.

Friday night we had dinner at Primo and to say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had would be an understatement. Every bite of food was amazing, the presentation was a vision, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was tranquil! We could not recommend Primo enough! Next time you’re there we highly recommend trying the charcuterie, the campanelle cacio e pepe, the pork saltimbocca, and the donuts!

Saturday morning we headed to Citron for breakfast to start our day! We were welcomed with mimosas and fresh coffee and decided to do the breakfast buffet so we could try different things. They had so many amazing options to choose from. I can never turn down a salmon bagel and theirs is perfect with cream cheese and pickled onions. Plus they have the BEST donuts ever! The most fresh and delicious classic glaze donuts I’ve ever had! Highly recommend starting your day here!

We spent most of Saturday poolside at The Spa at The Ritz Carlton. This is an adult only pool area which is super nice and the atmosphere is the most amazing! We enjoyed our private cabana most of the afternoon, with delicious smoothies and poolside bites. The cabana is definitely a plus for a day at the pool, being able to stay shaded and have space to relax was so luxurious!

Our final dinner was at Highball & Harvest at The Ritz Carlton and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of this restaurant in the evening is so cool and unique. Travis and I enjoyed the southern spread to start before our main dishes; diver scallops and prime ribeye, everything was so amazing, the flavors were out of this world! To top if off we had vanilla crème brûlée for dessert and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Again all the food the whole weekend exceeded expectations and everything was so delicious! So no matter where you eat on property you will not be disappointed!

We had the best weekend at The JW Marriott Orlando at Grande Lakes and can not wait to go back! We loved all the people we met and how everyone loved our little pup, Chewy and made us feel welcome! It was the perfect weekend!

As a social media manager, content creator, and photographer I wanted to talk a little bit about the importance of photography today. Whether you are a fellow blogger, small business owner, or just capturing moments photography is a great skill to possess and know what makes a great photo!

It’s so important to be proud of the content you are putting out there regardless of the industry you are in the content and photos you put out can make all the difference. Let's Talk About Goals Baby!

I wanted to touch base on goals and what that is looking like right now.

This year has already been so crazy and we aren’t that far into it yet! Wow!

Business wise I made the leap after taking a year off to hire a business coach to help guide me in my pivot into social media management and consulting which has been an amazing thing already! I’m so grateful already for all the good things to come in my business this year!

Personal wise Travis and I are still moving towards our goals and even though it’s already been an emotional roller coaster but we are working on these big things we want to achieve on our own and are putting in the work and the effort to get there! I’ll keep y’all posted with all that!

Happy Anniversary My Love

Yesterday 2/1 we celebrated our second wedding anniversary!

Although we have only been married 2 years we have been together over 10! How amazing is that? Wow!

Travis and I are pretty low key when it comes to anniversaries and last night was just that, we went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in town and just chatted about life right now and the goals we have. We have some big goals in mind this year and are actively trying to make those happen, I’ll share more if they come to fruition! I’m so proud of how far we have come in our relationship and marriage and love our little family! The best is yet to come!
