Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving holiday and got some much needed R and R. Summer 2020 Recap

As summer comes to close even though here in the sunshine state it’s boiling hot, I wanted to give an ode to summer as it is my favorite season next to winter! The whole year has been a bit different but summer especially was different for me and my family! Summer is the time we vacation and visit family up north which is unfortunately on the back burner until regulations change on some things. It’s been a tough season this year.

However some really exciting things have happened this summer! I hired a business coach at the start of summer and she has brought me into a new season of working for myself! This summer all within a couple of month’s Travis lost his job, started an amazing new job, and I left my job to pursue my passion, y’all it’s unreal to think this is our life right now!

So just remember no matter how tough things get there is something better coming! I promise! You just need to believe it!

LC Lauren Conrad- Apartment Refresh Pt. 3

Happy Wednesday Friend!

We are wrapping up the apartment refresh this week here on the blog! Final room we are covering is the bathroom, another room that is super easy to refresh on a budget, think shower curtain, towels, rugs, etc. LC Lauren Conrad has such great option to refresh your bathroom and at great prices too and the quality y’all know if amazing!

I’m a lover of pastels so these pieces really spoke to me! The tropical pastel shower curtain paired with the textured hand towels and the super soft bath mat, highly recommend and again it won’t break the bank!

We live in a one bedroom apartment so when we do have friends over they use our bathroom so we really try to keep it clean and put together and these simple things make it that much nicer of a room.

That concludes our apartment refresh! I had the best time collaborating with LC Lauren Conrad and Kohl’s on this and hope y’all enjoy it and do your own affordable home or apartment refresh!

Quarantine Tie-Dye

Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope you’re hanging in there with all of this going on! Here is FL the state is slowly opening in Phase 1 but we are still doing as much as we can by staying home and only going out for essentials.

Needless to say I’ve been spending a lot of time in my lounge wear and have jumped on the tie-dye train and purchased some pieces to lounge around and work from home in! I’ve been loving these pullovers from American Eagle as well as several pairs of their comfy shorts from Aerie as well! They have had some great sales going on and amazing pieces for this season, highly recommend checking them out!

Being at home I’ve also starting shooting some in my apartment since we are all at home right now. I also wanted to share one of the tie-dye pieces that I’ve purchased recently and check in with y’all and see how you’re doing! Let me know below!

Daydreams of Summer!

Wishing it was Spring Break and that we were cruising somewhere tropical! Anyone else?!

The hardest part about this whole thing is this girl thrives being by the water, y’all know I was born and raised in a beach town and it’s ingrained in my soul, the water is a part of me and not being able to go home and visit my parents or go to the beach is heart breaking!

I’ll be packing this outfit on the first trip we can take when this is all over! I found the LC Lauren Conrad romper on clearance over the winter and love it and the banana print, I paired it with some fun fringe sandals and the cutest spring hat! Again everything is from Kohl’s mostly all from last year but they have tons of cute similar items right now!

Dreaming of summer and a normal world again! I want to travel and go to restraunts again, visit my parents and the beach! I want all the things! Anyone else!?

Everything is Just Peachy

It’s all Just Peachy!

A lot of you voted on a recent IG poll and said you wanted to see spring fashion and looks. Tons more is coming your way but this look is super springy and definitely makes me wish I was sitting by the water eating brunch, but this to shall pass and those days will be back and we will all be forever grateful for that!

These are more new pieces for LC Lauren Conrad’s current collection at Kohl’s. Y’all know I love a good graphic T-shirt and this is one of my favorites EVER! Truth be told I say this all the time, it’s always my response to when people ask me how things are going “Just Peachy” it’s perfect! I love it pair with this flirty little skirt and wedges and hair clip! All these pieces would be paired great with other pieces in your closet! Super affordable and great staples for your closet!

I’ll be sharing a post soon on everything I’ve learned and accomplished during this time in quarantine, one of my goals is to completely go through the apartment and purge, especially the closet!

Powder Blue Look-Talking Easter Activities & Spring Fashion

Welcome to quarantine week 4 for me anyway, I’ve been working from home for 4 weeks now and we still have a while month to go at least right now with the stay at home order.

With Easter coming up this Sunday and most of us will still be indoors depending on where you live. I wanted to share another fun easy look for Easter as well as some fun activities you can still do while social distancing.

First off this is one of my favorite looks from LC Lauren Conrad’s recent collection for Kohl’s! I’m loving the pastel powder blue and the fun white accessories! This dress comes in several colors and is super comfortable and would be a perfect option for Easter inside or outdoor activities as home! The heels are super comfortable and fun along with the white cat eye sunnies, and floral bag perfect for spring and summer! Let’s all cross our fingers we have an actual summer this year with all of this! Those of you with yards and pools, enjoy it! I’m totally jelly! Living in an apartment with no porch I’ve been taking a daily walk to get some time outside.

As for Easter activities those of you with little ones or something fun just for family members now you can still do Easter egg hunts inside or in yard and get creative! I personally always make Travis an Easter basket, I love giving gifts so that’s something I always do and I hide eggs around the apartment with clues that will lead him to the basket, just something fun! You can also still do brunch or a big breakfast, cook some fun things and dig in!

Spring Shoes & Accessories Must Haves-Featuring Vionic Shoes

Happy Wednesday Babes!

Last week we talking about spring fashion and some trends that are huge for spring. This week I want to share some ways I accessorize for spring and my go to accessories for spring!

Being a Florida girl I love my sandals not just for Spring and Summer but year round! I’ve been obsessed with these Gold Kirra Perf Sandals from Vionic since I received them! They are super comfortable and provide actual support to the arch of the foot and are super well made! I highly recommend checking them out for comfortable and stylish shoes!

Also with sandals I love a few other keys accessories for spring; I love headbands, statement earrings, and bags! Especially for spring I’m living for the clear bag trend still along with a good white bag, making any look more spring! Headbands have been all the rage for the last several months and spring is no exception, Amazon has tons of great affordable ones! Y’all know I love my statement earrings and Kate Spade have some of my favorites for this time of year!

Go Bananas! -LC Lauren Conrad Look

Happy Wednesday Friends!

As spring is approaching I’m pulling out all the dresses! I absolutely love a t-shirt dress and this one from LC Lauren Conrad is super fun with the banana print! I actually picked this up this winter at Kohl’s on clearance! You can still find it online for $10 it’s a steal! Something here in Florida I can wear all year long especially spring and summer! We all love pieces that can be worn all throughout the year and honestly here in the sunshine state I wear a lot of dresses!

I paired it with some LC Lauren Conrad rose gold sandals and my favorite amazon clear bag from last year! This is perfect for brunch or running errands! Also would be cute paired with a denim jacket and sneakers too for a more casual look! T-shirt dresses are great for all figures and I love that this one has the cute print and tie sleeves, the fabric is a dream too!

This year I’m focusing on being more intentional with my purchases and that goes for clothes too! Shopping my closet more and donating more if I want to purchase some new things! I’m definitely paying more attention to what I’m spending money on!

Blush Pink Spring Look

Happy Wednesday Friends!

On Wednesdays we wear pink and I am so ready for spring and all the pastels! I’ve been living for this faux wrap dress from LC Lauren Conrad and I want it in every color! This dress is perfect for all body types with its fit and flare skirt and bubble sleeves it’s super flattering and fun for all seasons! It comes in several colors and is available at Kohl’s. This dress definitely runs true to size, if you’re curvier I recommend sizing up one, but I found my regular size large fit perfect!

I paired it with this Chanel dupe and LC Lauren Conrad block heels. This is a great look for Valentine’s, Easter, bridal showers, brunch, it’s a great dress to have in your closet! It can definitely be worn with some ballet flats and jean jacket or dressed up like this!

Pastels are classic for spring and you will be seeing a lot more pastels on the blog this season!

Perfect Green Jumpsuit

Happy Monday Everyone!

The blog schedule we be all over the place until the end of the year with the holidays fast approaching there are still several posts that I want to get up for y’all! That being said can we talk about this beautiful green jumpsuit from LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s. Florida temps are dropping but not to much and this is the perfect jumpsuit for the cooler days, especially paired with a denim jacket. I paired this with the black straw bag, y’all were obsessed with the spring/summer version of this bag that came in tan and other summer colors. I love the neutral shade to go with the snakeskin printed mules I think both shoes and bag complement the green jumper really well!

The jumpsuit it structured great with buttons and zipper at the front with the belted waist and puff sleeves give it something extra and makes it a more put together piece. Such a great piece to have in your closet, I could personally wear this to work, lunch, shopping out and about. I would recommend sizing up if you’re interested in the jumpsuit especially if you are curvier!
