Instantly Brightening Your Space with Wayfair

Happy Wednesday friends!

It’s been a minute by I’m back with something fun to share with you! I’m teaming up with Wayfair on this post today! *Sponsored

I’m sure you all can relate but I love to refresh my space and we recently moved a few months ago and wanted to brighten up our living room without immediately investing in new furniture. Our quick and easy solution…a new rug!

Our new place doesn’t have any carpet in any of the rooms so we had already grabbed a rug from Wayfair for our bedroom so when we determined our living room was looking so dark we thought again to find a new rug on Wayfair to brighten the space up. We are beyond impressed with the quality of the rug and happy with the outcome and how it immediately lightened up the space! You can find the exact rug HERE it is exactly as pictured and will not disappoint! If you are looking for a quick less expensive way to brighten up your space paint and a new rug will really do the trick!

Fall Michigan Trip Recap

Happy Wednesday friends!

I’m finally back in action after our fall trip we both came back under the weather so I’ve been recovering but finally almost 100% again so I wanted to share a break down of what we did on our fall getaway in Michigan. I’m sharing where we ate and what we did for any of you looking for a fall trip this is it!

Friday was a travel day for us, we didn’t get into town until late evening but we had to stop at Meijer for all our essentials before getting to our Airbnb.

Saturday we did a lot around South Haven, MI. We went shopping downtown and stopped at some of our favorite local shops. We also grabbed lunch at Taste which is one of our favorites while we’re in town. We visited my grandmother for a little bit then drove down to the pier to see some of the beautiful leaves and soak in all the views. From there we went to Waypost Brewing so Travis could try some new beers and again the views were everything. This is a great spot if you like breweries and a super chill vibe. To finish off our day we grabbed some food at The Southerner which did not disappoint!

On Sunday we spent time explored Douglas/Saugatuck MI. We grabbed some photos on the patio in the morning because it was so nice out. From there we checked out Saugatuck Brewing Co before we ventured into town and wondered around the shops there. We then grabbed pizza from Maria’s in South Haven to visit again with my grandmother and then finished the night with Sherman’s Ice Cream, a must no matter the season!

Monday was our last day in town before we left that evening. We woke up early to take some couples photos (coming soon to the blog) before we had an early lunch at the Farmhouse Deli in Douglas. I can’t recommend taking all the photos on vacation, capture those memories! From there we spent more time in South Haven, grabbed a drink and walked around before we headed to the airport!

Overall it was an amazing trip, too short before so amazing and fun and great to finally see fall foliage!

Spa-Inspired Bathroom with Wayfair

Happy Friday Friends!

Sharing another fun post this week with Wayfair!

Whether it’s a spacious primary bathroom or a hallway powder room, it’s easier (and less expensive) than you might think to give your bath a whole new look! I’m excited to share my recent chat with Wayfair and share our tips for transforming your dull bathroom into the spa-like oasis of your dreams - with just a few simple upgrades!

Wayfair: If you could only upgrade one area of your bathroom to make the biggest impact, what would you choose, and why?

Me: I would have to say the tile, I feel light backsplash and flooring makes a huge difference!

Wayfair: Are there any must-have décor pieces, accessories or fixtures in your bathroom that enhance the spa-like atmosphere?

Me: I would say upgrading your hardware, whether that be cabinet pulls or towel holders really can level up the space!

Wayfair: From a design perspective, what are your favorite colors, textures or materials to incorporate in your bath space?

Me: I absolutely love marble and a clean white look with blue tones mixed in to give an elevated coastal vibe!

If you’re thinking about upgrading your bathroom this year, check out the selection at Wayfair!

Think About Your Social Media Going Into Q4

Happy Wednesday friends!

As we enter Q4 and head into the most wonderful and busy time of year now is the time to think again about outsourcing your social media! Was this a goal you made for your business this year? Can you imagine going into Q4 having to come up with content and consistently posting about deals, sales and your services during this busy season?

If this already makes you feel overwhelmed take a moment and consider hiring a social media manager. I would love to help you come up with social media marketing strategy that will help you get through this time and show up for your ideal clients that haven’t found you yet!
